The Brazilian agreed a new contract with the Serie A club earlier this week and his representative has suggested he is happy to remain in Italy despite reported interest
Felipe Anderson's agent has insisted his client is happy to resist the overtures of Champions League clubs and stay at Lazio this summer after signing a new contract in Rome.
The 21-year-old has scored 10 goals and registered eight assists in 25 appearances this season, and has been linked with several Premier League sides including Manchester United and Chelsea.
But Anderson’s representative suggests Lazio may not face a battle to keep the Brazilian - whose new deal runs until 2020 - as he is happy in Serie A.
“It’s a good sign that important clubs are coming to see him, as it means that he is doing very well,” Stefano Castagna told Radiosei.
“He has just signed a new deal and is very happy in Rome.
“I see no particular problem in keeping him, even without Champions League qualification. Playing in that tournament would be ideal, but the Europa League is good too.”
