The Belgian scored as the Blues ran out 3-2 winners over Hull City at the KC Stadium on Sunday, but has played down any talk that they have already won the title
Eden Hazard insists Chelsea are still a long way away from securing the Premier League title.
The Belgium international scored the opening goal as the Blues beat Hull City 3-2 on Sunday, a win that moves the club six points clear of second-placed Manchester City, while they also have a game in hand on their title rivals.
Hazard, though, moved to play down any talk of Chelsea having already won the title after the victory at the KC Stadium, insisting that they must not get ahead of themselves before the season is over.
"The win is important after the draw with Southampton," he told Sky Sports. "We have nine finals to play. We have to win everything if we want to bring the trophy to Stamford Bridge.
"We know when you play away it's always difficult, I remember last season this game was difficult and it was the same today.
"We must take game after game and see at the end."
Loic Remy scored the winner with his first touch, having come off the bench to replace the injured Diego Costa, and the striker spoke of his delight at getting on the scoresheet.
"Of course, it's a good moment for me so far. The work of all the team, we're working at training everyday for success," he said.
"It's really important to win this sort of game and we're still top of the league. We'll see at the end of the season.
"It's always frustrating when you're on the bench but we can make the difference - the guys on the bench. No matter who's playing we have to be ready as soon as the manager needs us."
