The Argentine hit a hat-trick and the Uruguayan added two more goals as Luis Enrique's men regained the lead in the Primera Division following Real Madrid's loss in Bilbao
Barcelona returned to the top of the Primera Division table at the weekend for the first time since the ninth round of matches.
Luis Enrique's side took full advantage of Real Madrid's 1-0 defeat at Athletic Club on Saturday by thrashing Rayo Vallecano 6-1 at Camp Nou on Sunday.
That result saw them move above Carlo Ancelotti's men and claim the lead by a point ahead of the teams' Clasico clash later this month.
Elsewhere, Atletico were held at home by Valencia, while there were wins for Levante, Sevilla, Elche, Granada, Real Sociedad, Villarreal and Getafe. Here, Goal looks at the standout performers from the 26th round of action.
