The Spain defender has stressed that the former PSG coach is one of the best in the world and feels he deserves more recognition
Sergio Ramos has taken the time to defend Carlo Ancelotti and believes Real Madrid are a better team under the Italian than they were under Jose Mourinho.
Ancelotti replaced Mourinho at the helm in the summer of 2013 and guided Madrid to Champions League glory in his first season.
He has come under fire in recent months, though, due to the Santiago Bernabeu side's disappointing run of form in 2015.
"I maintain that Ancelotti is one of the best coaches I have ever had," Sergio Ramos told Cadena SER.
"There is no way to differentiate between him and Mourinho.
"I think we are a better team now than under Mourinho in all aspects of the game. I think this is clear to see for all - for both fans and journalists.
"I don't like this injustice, where one coach gets all the credit, whereas the other doesn't get recognition.
"I go by with what I have experienced, not by what I have been told. It suffices to look at what he has won here and how long it took."
Madrid currently sit second in La Liga, trailing leaders Barcelona by four points.
Additionally, they are still in with a chance of successfully defending their Champions League title, having been paired with Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals of the competition.
